If you want your marketing agency to manage and monitor your website’s performance in Google Search Console (GSC), you can grant them user access without sharing your personal login. Follow these steps to provide secure access.
Step 1: Sign in to Google Search Console
Go to Google Search Console.
Sign in with the Google account that owns the website property.
Step 2: Select Your Property
On the left-hand menu, click the property (website) you want to grant access to.
Make sure it is the correct domain or URL-prefix property.
Step 3: Open Settings
In the left-hand menu, scroll down and click Settings.
Step 4: Manage Users and Permissions
Under Users and permissions, click Manage users.
You’ll see a list of current users and their permission levels.
Step 5: Add a New User
Click the Add user button (top-right corner).
Enter the email address of your marketing agency (e.g.,
beheragroupllc@gmail.com
).Choose the permission level:
Full: Can view all data and make changes, including adding/removing users.
Tip: Give Full access to effectively manage SEO and website performance.
Click Add to grant access.
Step 6: Confirm Access
Your agency will receive an email notifying them that they have been granted access.
Once they accept, they can start managing your Search Console data for reporting, analysis, and optimization.
